What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is available from 12PM, and we kindly ask guests to check out by 11AM. However, if you need flexibility with these times, please let us know in advance, and we’ll do our best to accommodate!

Do you have a curfew?

There’s no curfew at Cozy Hostel. Guests are welcome to come and go as
they please! Our front desk staff is available 24/7 to assist with any needs
you may have, no matter the time.

Is breakfast included?

Yes, a delicious breakfast is included in your stay! Served from 7AM to 9AM, it’s a perfect way to start your day before exploring Ha Giang.

 

What amenities are provided in the rooms?

Each room, whether it be private or dorm, is equipped with comfortable bedding, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, and secure lockers for valuables. Additionally, all dorm rooms have privacy curtains for a cozy, private experience.

Do you have private rooms or only dorms?

We offer both! We have an offering of mixed and female-only (upon request) dorms, as well as private double and triple rooms for travellers seeking more seclusion.

Is there hot water available in the showers?

Yes, all showers in Cozy Hostel have hot water, so you can enjoy a warm shower any time of the day.

Is there a safe in the room for valuables?

While private rooms have safes, we also provide secure lockers in dormitory rooms for valuables. Please bring your own lock for added security.

What is your cancellation policy?

We offer free cancellation up to 24 hours before check-in. If a booking is cancelled within 24 hours of check-in, a fee equivalent to the first night’s stay applies.

How can I modify my booking?

Can you help with bus tickets to other destinations?

Is parking available?

Yes, we offer free parking for motorbikes and bicycles on-site. For guests arriving by car, please contact us in advance so we can advise on the appropriate parking options.

What tours do you offer?

We specialise in guided tours around the Ha Giang Loop, featuring stops at iconic spots like the Dong Van Karst Plateau, Ma Pi Leng Pass, and traditional villages. Can I rent a motorbike from you?

Do you organise group tours or only private ones?

We offer both group and private tour options for all tour types. Our group tours are a great way to meet fellow travellers and travel in larger groups, while private tours provide a more personalised experience.

Are pets allowed?

We currently don’t allow pets in the hostel to maintain a comfortable environment for all guests. However, service animals are welcome.

Is there an age restriction for staying in the hostel?

There are no age restrictions at Cozy Hostel. Children of all ages are warmly welcomed, and we are happy to accommodate families to ensure a comfortable stay for everyone.

What is the hostel’s quiet hours policy?

Quiet hours are from 10PM to 6AM to ensure everyone gets a good night’s sleep. Please respect fellow guests by keeping noise to a minimum during this time.

How does the laundry service work?

Our hostel offers a convenient laundry service—just bring your clothes down to the reception desk, and our team will take care of the rest! Options for same-day, next-day, or end of tour services are available, with costs provided upon request.

Do you provide ironing services?

We offer ironing services as an add-on to our laundry service. Just let us know if you need this, and we’ll include it in your laundry request.

What should I pack for the tour?

With Cozy Hostel, you will be able to safely store your luggage or whatever items you do not need to take with you at our hostel in Ha Giang town. This is where we will both begin and complete the loop. With this in mind, it is recommended and important to pack light. Essential items include:

  • Small bag or backpack for clothes & daily necessities
  • Light clothing
  • Waterproof jacket or raincoat for the colder areas or wet periods
  • Sunscreen
  • Sunglasses
  • Swimming suit/bikini/trunks
  • Mosquito repellent (if you need)

Once you have been collected from your chosen pick up location, you will be driven to Cozy Hotel (No. 16 Đại Lộ Hữu Nghị Street) in Ha Giang town. This is where the loop will start and finish.

I have dietary requirements (i.e. vegan), can you accommodate for this?

Yes, dietary preferences like vegan or vegetarian can be accommodated if notified in advance. You can put your requirements in via the ‘Special Requests’ section of our online form upon booking your tour HERE

Do I need travel insurance?

Yes, we strongly recommended to have your own travel insurance covering motorbike activities, as well as against illness, injury, loss/damage to personal belongings and not being able to travel on confirmed departure dates.

Can I drive by myself?

Yes, you must have a valid driving licence and international driving permit (IDP). 

If you cannot provide these, don’t panic! You can still do the Ha Giang Loop as we have our Easy Riders to accompany you.
